Your creative forecast for this week and the next little while. It’s witch season, big risk / big reward season. Here’s how to follow through:
Maybe you’re usually a little bit slow and steady, a cautious workhorse. But this was a season of change and you took it. You were looking for rules to break, big risks to take and you said All in. Now you’re looking around to make sure this big bang is right for you, surveying your creation while standing on your own two feet.
Sometimes we start new projects by allowing ourselves to free-fall into the unknown. Who knows where the ground is? Now you’ve glimpsed the earth and the calm pilot in your head takes over the controls. You want to land real soft–after all, you know how. If you listen to that voice of reason–wherever you find it–you’ll get the work done.
The outcome of your work will be tempered by how well you listened to what the work was saying.
On the way down, survey your kingdom. You built every hill and lake, every clapboard house, every horse, with your own two hands, and it’s gorgeous. When you look back, you’ll be able to glimpse the wilding child that propelled you forward, but the outcome of your work will be tempered by how well you did what you knew how to do, how well you listened to what the work was telling you.
Put up your worries but stay loose and open. Let yourself enjoy the view from here. You did real good, kid. You did real good.
